About.

Nate Lupi is a musician from northeast Ohio.  He is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter who enjoys playing all genres of music.

 

Beginning to play as a youth, he quickly realized that music would be his career of choice and bringing live music to an audience is what he wanted to do. 

​

Nate studies and performs Blues-Rock, Jazz, R&B, Funk, Pop, Classical, Gospel, and enjoys creatively writing and performing his own songs.  

​

Nate enjoys playing in a band setting, duo performance, and as a solo act, performing at many establishments and venues such as the Canton Blues Festival, Kent Blues Festival, Heritage Music Bluesfest, Lock 3 Live , and  on the famous Beale Street in Memphis. 

​

He is a Representative for the Northeast Ohio Blues Association and is the winner of the 2022 NEOBA Blues Challenge. Nate and his band competed at the 2023 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN.  

​

He is a two-time recipient of the prestigious Louis Armstrong Jazz Award, voted a finalist in the Canton Repository 2017 Best Local Live Act, and was named the 2017 Favorite Musician by "Readers Picks" in the Canton About Magazine.

Nate was voted a 2018 Finalist in the worldwide Lee Ritenour Six String Theory Competition - Blues Guitar Category by famous musicians such as Joe Bonamassa and Keb Mo,  He was  named a Semi-Finalist by the International Songwriting Competition for his original song "That's The Way Life Goes".  Nate is enormously grateful to everyone who has supported him and live music.

 

Since then, Nate has been awarded the Berklee Spring Guitar Award, and the NAMM Show President's Innovation Award for his music creativity and performance abilities.

His first CD comprised of original music titled "Making A Mark" released in December 2017.  Jazz single, "Lets Drive" released in June 2020.  "Beyond The Picture", a 10-track soundtrack album, released in 2021. In February 2022, Nate released a pop single and music video titled "All We Need".  He also released jazz instrumentals "City Vibe" in 2022, and "Love on the Roof" in 2024. "Elevation", an instrumental ethereal track released in 2024; as well as, as a rock instrumental track titled "Infinity". All available on popular streaming platforms.

Nate continues to perform publicly while studying Professional Music with concentration in Scoring for Media and Performance at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
